Juno

Over the summer I watched a film by Jason Reitman called Juno. Juno is an academy award winning film about a young girl who falls pregnant but decides to give the child away. The intelligent comedy covers a range of different topics, some of which are very sensetive , e.g teengae pregnancy. I believe this is why this film was such a success in box office. It uses a mixture of comedy and seriousness to pass the messgae across to the audience. The naarartive is also very unique int he way it build up differnt story lines as the film goes on. The charcters are also a reflection to a modern day teenager which will appeal to a younger audience. You can see that not much money was spent on this film but it shows that you dont need money to make quality. The film is well structured and the setting for the film suits perfectly.Young adults will be able to realte to the actors and as the film goes on you will see the characters turn into adults which may inspire other young adults.
